FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver| Permitted Items List

  • One empty, non-glass refillable water bottle (max. 1L / 34 fl oz) per person (Stainless steel and metal bottles are not permitted)
  • Special dietary food items (Eg - formula, breastmilk, unpackaged baby foods + specific dietary items)
  • Medically necessary Helmets (Including those for physical or developmental health requirements)
  • Mobile phones
  • Hand sanitizer (max. 30 ml /1.0 fl oz)
  • Sunscreen (max. 100 ml/ 3.4 fl oz) or sunscreen stick (Aerosol sunscreen is not permitted.)
  • Certified Guide and Service Dogs
  • Single or Double Strollers (Must be empty of any contents with the exception of permitted items)
  • Small flags up to 2 m x 1.5 m / 6 ft 7 in × 4 ft 11 in (Flagpoles are not permitted.)

  • Blankets, Seat Cushions or Lawn Chairs of any kind (Except for cane-chairs and seat walker mobility aids)
  • Weapons of any kind, including firearms, sharp or dangerous objects, projectiles, knives or other bladed items
  • Tools or work equipment, including multi-tools
  • Wagons
  • Umbrellas
  • Sports helmets, costume masks or other (Exceptions for guests with physical or developmental health requirements)
  • Hazardous materials, chemicals, aerosols, or powdery substances inclusive of bear/pepper spray, explosives, flammable items
  • Glass containers or cans, flasks
  • Sports equipment or inflatables
  • Bicycles, scooters (motorized and non-motorized), skateboards, inline skates, shoes with built-in wheels, motorcycles, tricycles, unicycles, pogo sticks, Segway™ etc. (except approved accessibility devices ie. knee scooter)
  • Bags or backpacks exceeding 30 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm /12 in × 12 in × 6 in
  • Portable chargers, Laptops or tablets (except approved accessibility devices)
  • Paper materials such as confetti or flyers
  • Animals, except certified Guide and Service dogs
  • Liquids of any kind, including alcohol
  • Outside food + beverages (Exception for Formula, Breastmilk, Unpackaged Baby Foods + Special Dietary Needs)

  • Drones, remote-controlled devices, or radio-transmitting/high-frequency devices
  • Ambush marketing or promotional materials

  • Lasers, noise-making items, or musical instruments (unless pre-approved)

  • Flares, fireworks, smoke canisters/flares, laser devices, noise makers
  • Any other item deemed by event staff to pose a safety risk or negatively impact the event experience
When to come
  • As each day’s match schedule and entertainment program varies, please refer to the detailed online schedule.
  • Plan ahead and arrive early to allow time for possible heavy traffic, finding parking and entering the site.
  • While match popularity will vary, for the free site match viewing and entertainment, we recommend arriving minimum one hour before match broadcasts and live performances to secure your spot in the festival grounds. For those seeking to access the free General Admission Floor of the amphitheatre, this is based on first-come-first served and capacity, so we recommend arriving in good time. If you have purchased a ticket for the Amphitheatre, we recommend you arrive 30 to 60 minutes before kick-off to enter and find your seats.
Taking transit (bus and SkyTrain)
  • The 11 Fan Festival Express bus will run from 29th Avenue Skytrain Station (Expo Line SkyTrain) and Renfrew Station (Millennium Line SkyTrain) to the FIFA Fan Festival™ running every five minutes during peak hours. Plan your travel with TransLink, Vancouver’s regional transportation authority. Learn about extended transit hours, night service and more.   • Learn about late night transit service, which will be provided by the NightBus.
Accessible drop-off and parking
  • For those with mobility considerations, there are safe and designated Handy Dart drop off points at Gate 2 (Lot #1) off Renfrew and Gate 10 (Lot #9) off Miller Drive near the Amphitheatre.
  • Those with a SPARC BC Parking permit will have access to limited parking in Lot 1 for Gate 2 access (off Renfrew Street), or Lot 9 for Gate 10 (off Miller Drive) for access for those with tickets to the Amphitheatre. These spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to paid parking rates.
Cycling and scooting to the Festival
  • We encourage those visiting FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver to walk, bike and roll to and from the Festival site. There will be additional stations for Mobi (Vancouver’s shared e-bike provider) and Lime (Vancouver’s shared e-scooter provider).
  • Full-service bike valets will be at Callister Park off Renfrew near Gate 4 and Lillooet Street and Pender Street near Gate 14. Drop your bike, Mobi rental or your Lime e-scooter here, and attendants will take care of the rest. These locations will also have day lockers for rent, so your belongings will remain safe while you enjoy the Festival.
  • The FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver is well connected to Vancouver’s local bike lane network.
Taxi, ride-hailing, car-share and getting dropped-off
  • The designated pick-up and drop-off lot for taxi, and ride-hailing services such as Uber and Lyft is located at PNE Parking Lot 7, with an entrance from North Renfrew Street at Eton Street, north of the Pacific Coliseum.
  • For visitors using Vancouver’s car share program, Evo, there will be limited designated parking at Callister Park.
  • Festival goers who are being driven and dropped-off by friends or family (not taxi or ride-hailing) can use the vehicle Passenger Zones located at the following select areas surrounding the site:
    • 400 Lillooet St and 400 Windermere St, between Hastings St and Pender St, provides access to Gate 14.
    • 200 N Renfrew St, between Eton St and Cambridge St, provides access to Gate 10.
    • 00 N Renfrew St, between Oxford St and Dundas St, provides access to Gate 4.
Driving to the Festival
  • General paid parking is very limited, so we encourage visitors to take public transit, walk, bike or use ride-hailing services to get to the site. The parking lots, which will be first-come, first-served, are located at PNE Lot 8, via McGill Street, or the Hastings Racecourse, via Miller Drive.
Site payment methods
  • The FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver is a cashless site. While VISA is FIFA’s official partner for payments, other credit and debit cards may be used to purchase food, beverages, merchandise and premium experience tickets at the box office.
  • To ensure access for those who do not have or choose not to use electronic means for payment, the site has two cash to card machines to convert your CAD or USD cash onto a VISA pre-paid card for use on site.
  • Any balance remaining on your VISA pre-paid card can be used anywhere VISA is accepted.
Dietary considerations
  • Food and beverage options will showcase the diversity of our city’s offerings. Whether you are looking for vegetarian/vegan, kosher/halal, local or Ocean Wise, we are confident there is something for all dietary considerations and preferences.
Water bottles and other reusables
  • The FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver will provide filtered water stations throughout the site and we encourage visitors to bring their own empty, reusable water bottle. Please visit the “What to bring/not bring” section above for specifications.
  • The site has adopted a reusable cups program for wine, mixed cocktails and hot coffee/tea service onsite. Simply drop off your cup after you’ve consumed your beverage into an identified receptacle for reusable cup return onsite.
