What to bring and not bring

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, all bags and personal items entering FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver are subject to security screening upon entry.

Please review the permitted and prohibited items lists before arriving at the Festival.

Bag policy

Guests are encouraged to bring only small clutches, belt bags, fanny packs, or clear bags (i.e. see-through bags).

Bags or backpacks exceeding 30 cm by 30 cm by 15 cm or 12 in by 12 in by 6 in will not be permitted into the Festival grounds.

All bags and hand-carried items are subject to inspection and screening for prohibited items prior to entry.

Permitted items list

Guests may bring the following items into the FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver:

  • One empty, non-glass refillable water bottle (max. 1L or 34 fl oz) per person (Stainless steel and metal bottles are not permitted.)
  • Special dietary food items (Eg; formula, breastmilk, unpackaged baby foods and specific dietary items.)
  • Medically necessary helmets (Including those for physical or developmental health requirements.)
  • Mobile phones
  • Hand sanitizer (max. 30 ml or 1.0 fl oz.)
  • Sunscreen (max. 100 ml or 3.4 fl oz) or sunscreen stick (Aerosol sunscreen is not permitted.)
  • Certified Guide and Service Dogs
  • Single or double strollers (Must be empty of any contents with the exception of permitted items.)
  • Small flags up to 2 m by 1.5 m or 6 ft 7 in by 4 ft 11 in (Flagpoles are not permitted.)

Prohibited items list

The following items are not permitted inside the FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver:

  • Blankets, seat cushions or lawn chairs of any kind (Except for cane-chairs and seat walker mobility aids.)
  • Weapons of any kind, including firearms, sharp or dangerous objects, projectiles, knives or other bladed items
  • Tools or work equipment, including multi-tools
  • Wagons
  • Umbrellas
  • Sports helmets, costume masks or other (Exceptions for guests with physical or developmental health requirements.)
  • Hazardous materials, chemicals, aerosols, or powdery substances inclusive of bear or pepper spray, explosives, flammable items
  • Glass containers or cans, flasks
  • Sports equipment or inflatables
  • Bicycles, scooters (motorized and non-motorized), skateboards, inline skates, shoes with built-in wheels, motorcycles, tricycles, unicycles, pogo sticks, Segway™ etc. (Except approved accessibility devices ie. knee scooter.)
  • Bags or backpacks exceeding 30 cm by 30 cm by 15 cm or 12 in by 12 in by 6 in
  • Portable chargers, laptops or tablets (Except approved accessibility devices.)
  • Paper materials such as confetti or flyers
  • Animals, except certified Guide and Service dogs
  • Liquids of any kind, including alcohol
  • Outside food and beverages (Exception for formula, breastmilk, unpackaged baby foods and special dietary needs.)
  • Cannabis and cannabis related products
  • Illicit drugs, narcotics, or stimulants
  • Offensive, political, discriminatory, or gang-related materials, paraphernalia, or insignia
  • Professional video or photography equipment including but not limited to: cameras with detachable lenses, telephoto lenses, backdrops, green screens, tripods and deflective screens
  • Camera mounts, tripods, or selfie sticks
  • Drones, remote-controlled devices, or radio-transmitting or high-frequency devices
  • Ambush marketing or promotional materials
  • Flags or banners larger than 2 m by 1.5 m or 6 ft 7 in by 4 ft 11 in
  • Flagpoles or banner poles of any kind
  • Lasers, noise-making items, or musical instruments (unless pre-approved.)
  • Microphones or audio recording devices
  • Portable Wi-Fi devices
  • Coolers or picnic baskets
  • Flares, fireworks, smoke canisters or flares, laser devices, noise makers
  • Any other item deemed by event staff to pose a safety risk or negatively impact the event experience
Amphitheatre Ticket holder Information

Access to FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver and general admission match viewing areas is free on match days. The information below applies to guests with Amphitheatre Premium Tickets.

Premium tickets provide reserved seating and access to enhanced viewing experiences within the Amphitheatre. Your ticket is valid only for the date and time listed on the ticket.

Before you arrive

Guests with Amphitheatre Premium Tickets receive fast-track entry into the Festival at the dedicated ticket holder entrance lanes located at Gates 4, 10 and 14. Please review the 'Entrances' section in Getting to FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver for more detail. 

We strongly recommend downloading your mobile ticket to your digital wallet before arriving onsite, as public Wi-Fi will not be available.

To prepare your ticket:

  • Log in to your TicketLeader account
  • Visit “My Upcoming Events”
  • Add your tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet

Please note:

  • Screenshots and PDF copies will not be accepted
  • Present the original mobile ticket with your QR code ready and screen brightness turned up
  • Mobile tickets will be available to transfer 48 hours prior to the event
  • Tickets must be transferred through your TicketLeader account; forwarded links may become inactive

Amphitheatre entry

Upon entry, Amphitheatre ticket holders will receive a wristband required for access to the Amphitheatre. Wristbands must remain on for the duration of your visit and cannot be removed or transferred.

For the best experience, we recommend arriving 30–60 minutes prior to kick-off to allow time for entry, security screening, and seating.

Food AND Beverage

Food options

A wide variety of food and beverage options will be available throughout FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver, showcasing the diversity of Vancouver’s local food scene.

Whether you are looking for vegetarian, vegan, halal, locally inspired, or Ocean Wise options, there will be offerings available to support a range of dietary preferences and considerations.

While the FIFA Fan Festival™ is a cashless event, we encourage you to bring a small amount of cash to support our xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) , Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) artisan vendors on site. These talented local artists offer unique, handcrafted goods that celebrate Indigenous culture and creativity, and in some cases may prefer or require cash for purchases. Having cash on hand ensures you won’t miss the opportunity to take home a meaningful keepsake while directly supporting these incredible creators and their work.

Alcohol service

Licensed bars will be located throughout the Festival grounds. Guests must be 19+ with valid government-issued photo ID to purchase or consume alcohol.

All food and beverage purchases onsite are cashless.

Outside food and beverage

Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the Festival grounds, with exceptions for approved dietary, medical, and infant-related needs outlined in the permitted and prohibited items list in the 'What to Bring and Not Bring' section above.

Water bottles and reusables

Filtered water refill stations will be available throughout the Festival grounds. Guests are encouraged to bring one empty, non-glass and non-metal reusable water bottle (maximum 1 L or 34 fl oz) for use onsite.

Please note that stainless steel and metal bottles are not permitted. Review the permitted and prohibited items list in the 'What to Bring and Not Bring' section above for full bottle specifications and entry guidelines.

FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver will also feature a reusable cup program for wine, cocktails, and hot beverage service. Guests can return reusable cups to designated receptacles located throughout the site after use.

Site payment methods

FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver is a cashless site.

While Visa is FIFA’s official payment partner, most major credit and debit cards will be accepted throughout the Festival grounds, including food, beverages, merchandise, and Amphitheatre ticket purchases onsite.

Cash to card kiosks

Guests without electronic payment methods can convert CAD or USD cash into a prepaid Visa card at one of the onsite Cash to card kiosks.

Prepaid Visa cards can be used throughout the Festival grounds and anywhere Visa is accepted worldwide.

Please note:

  • Visa prepaid cards are non-refundable
  • A minimum amount of $5 CAD or USD, or $25 with a Canadian debit card, is required for each transaction
Fan Services

FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver offers a variety of onsite services and amenities to help create a safe, comfortable, and convenient guest experience.

Water stations

Free filtered water refill stations are located throughout the Festival grounds and are marked on the Festival map.

ChargeFUZE portable phone charging

Stay powered up throughout the Festival with ChargeFUZE portable phone chargers.

Charging stations are located near the lost and found and info booths at Gates 1 and 4. This service is available for a nominal fee.

Day lockers

Complimentary day lockers are available for all guests outside the Festival grounds at both bike valet locations for helmets, bags, and personal belongings. See the bikes and scooters section of Getting to FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver for more information.

Please review the permitted and prohibited items list in the 'What to Bring and Not Bring' section above before arriving to confirm what items can and cannot be brought into the Festival.

Lost and found

Lost or misplaced an item? Guests can report or collect lost belongings at the info booths located at Gates 2 and 4.

Items are held for a limited time, so we encourage guests to check in as soon as possible if something is missing.

Information booths

For questions about the Festival site, programming, amenities, or guest services, visit the onsite info booths located at Gates 1 and 4, or speak with one of the roaming Fan Services team members throughout the Festival grounds.

FamILY Hub

The Family Hub is a dedicated support space for families, caregivers, and children to rest, regroup, and recharge during their visit to FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver.

Designed as a calm, family-friendly environment away from the busiest areas of the Festival, the Family Hub offers a variety of amenities and support services for guests of all ages. Festival staff and volunteers will be available onsite to assist guests and provide information throughout the day.

Stroller parking

Free stroller parking is available within the Family Hub, allowing families to move more easily throughout the Festival grounds while helping keep walkways and viewing areas accessible for all guests.

Please note that strollers are not permitted inside the Amphitheatre.

Nursing area

A clean, quiet, and private nursing area is available for caregivers and infants who need a comfortable space to nurse, feed, or take a break.

This space includes seating and changing tables for infants and toddlers.

Sensory nook

Need a break from the noise and crowds? The Sensory Nook offers a quieter, low-stimulation space where guests can step away from the Festival environment to rest and reset.

This area is open to any guest who may benefit from a calmer environment during their visit.

Hidden disability support wristbands will also be available onsite. Please see the Accessibility section below for more information on the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program.

Family washrooms

Accessible, family-friendly washrooms are located within the Family Hub and are available throughout Festival operating hours.

Accessible features and services are available throughout the Festival grounds to help support a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Entrances and facilities

Step-free entry is available at all main Festival gates, with accessible pathways connecting key areas throughout the site.

The Festival grounds also include:

  • Accessible washrooms
  • Clear wayfinding signage throughout the venue
  • Festival staff and volunteers available to assist with directions and navigation

Mobility and accessible viewing

Wheelchair-accessible pathways connect major Festival areas, including stages, food vendors, and fan zones.

Accessible features onsite include:

  • Reserved accessible seating and rest areas
  • Accessible viewing areas at both the Amphitheatre and Park Stage
  • Accessible-specific viewing tickets available within the Amphitheatre

Please note that some areas of the Festival may involve longer travel distances or uneven terrain. Guests are encouraged to plan accordingly.

Sensory considerations

Certain areas of the Festival may feature amplified sound, bright lighting, large crowds, and other high-energy elements that could be overwhelming for some guests.

Higher sensory areas may include:

  • The Amphitheatre
  • Match viewing areas
  • Interactive fan activations

Guests seeking a quieter, low-stimulation environment can visit the Sensory Nook located within the Family Hub.

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower (HDS) program

FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver is proud to support the Hidden Disability Sunflower (HDS) program.

The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a global program that uses the Sunflower symbol as a subtle, voluntary way for individuals to indicate they may require additional support, understanding, or time due to a non-visible disability or condition.

Guests can collect a Sunflower support wristband at the Family Hub during Festival operating hours, limited quantities available. 

Guests may also wear their own Sunflower lanyard, wristband or other Sunflower identifier. 

Service animals

Certified Guide and Service Dogs are welcome throughout the Festival grounds.

Service animal relief areas are located:

  • Near Gate 4 behind the Agrodome
  • Near Gate 14 beside the washrooms

Please keep service dogs leashed or harnessed at all times.

Accessibility requests and onsite support

For day-of support or urgent assistance onsite:

  • Visit the info booth at Gate 1
  • Speak with any Festival staff member or volunteer

The FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver website has been designed with accessibility in mind, including:

Safety & Security

The safety and wellbeing of guests, staff, volunteers, and performers is a top priority at FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver.

Zero tolerance policy

FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver maintains a zero tolerance policy for violence, harassment, abusive behaviour, or aggression toward guests, staff, volunteers, performers, or security personnel.

Guests who engage in prohibited behaviour may be removed from the Festival grounds or denied entry.

If you experience or witness behaviour that raises concern, please notify the nearest Festival staff member, volunteer, or security team member for assistance.

For urgent onsite support during Festival operations, guests may also contact Venue Guest Services at 604-505-5840.

Good Night Out

FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver has partnered with Good Night Out to provide a mobile, non-enforcement support presence throughout the Festival site. The team assists with wellness checks, bystander support, and de-escalation. You can identify them by their pink uniforms and "Here to Help" stickers. 

If you or someone around you requires support, please speak to a Good Night Out team member or any Festival staff member.

Security screening

All guests and personal items entering the Festival grounds are subject to mandatory security screening upon entry.

Frictionless screening technology will be in use at Festival entrances. Additional screening measures may also be required, including:

  • Bag inspections
  • Hand-held metal detector screening
  • Secondary screening or pat-downs when necessary
  • Motorized wheelchairs will require a specialized screening at the gate

Guests are encouraged to review the permitted and prohibited items list in the 'What to Bring and Not Bring' section above before arriving to help speed up entry.

Guests found with prohibited or dangerous items may be denied entry.

Festival security teams work closely with the Vancouver Police Department and emergency services partners to help maintain a safe environment for all guests.

Guest conduct

FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any individual found to be violating Festival policies, guest conduct expectations, or applicable ticket terms and conditions.
